Mwani Qatar ports have achieved increased total cargo traffic during the first half of the year, compared with the same period of 2021.
More specifically, Mwani Qatar ports handled approximately 700,000 TEU in the first six months of 2022, a figure that includes transshipment of 200,000 TEU through Hamad Port.
Meanwhile, 274 ships have moved through the company’s ports from January until June.
In June, Mwani Qatar ports handled more than 118,000 TEU with 274 vessels moving through the company’s ports, which translates to a 28% increase compared to the previous month (May 2022).
In terms of general cargo volume, Mwani Qatar ports have moved more than 850,000 tonnes in the first half of the year, with the construction materials exceeding 260,000 tonnes.
