Effective January 13, 2020, the Memphis Regional Intermodal Facility (MRIF) will become Norfolk Southern’s new location for handling International intermodal shipments within the Memphis area.
MRIF is conveniently located near SE Shelby County, TN, Olive Branch, MS and the Gateway Global Logistics Center in Rossville, TN.
In addition to its convenient location, MRIF is a state-of-the-art facility and provides customers with the following benefits:

- Increased capacity to support customer growth
Following the transition of International operations to MRIF, the Memphis (Harris Yard) Intermodal Facility will close to all Norfolk Southern Rail Intermodal shipments.
