ONE boosts intra-Europe links with upgraded SBX service

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced significant enhancements to its Scandinavian Baltic Express (SBX) service.

In addition to the existing coverage of Gdynia and Frederica, ONE has expanded the service rotation to include the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Rauma, and Gävle.

“This expansion offers greater flexibility and faster transit times for the intra-Europe shipments of our clients,” said the company.

New Port Expansion Highlights:

As for the enhanced flexibility, the inclusion of Antwerp and Rotterdam as main ports provides two convenient options for seamless integration with ONE’s client’s supply chain.

ONE said it is committed to offering comprehensive service, with these new ports ensuring optimal transit times for both imports and exports.

– First Direct Call: ONE will offer the first direct service to Rauma (Finland) and Gävle (Sweden).

– Double Call in Gdynia: This is expected to ensure optimal transit times for both import and export cargo.

– Operational Stability: Two dedicated vessels will operate to provide consistent and reliable service.

Service Details:

The port rotation will start from Antwerp and proceed through Rotterdam, Frederica, Gdynia (1st call), Rauma, Gävle, and Gdynia (2nd call), before returning to Antwerp.

This will be a weekly service, operated by a lineup of two vessels. The service is set to commence on 20 October 2024.
