ONE launches green strategy department

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced that a new green strategy department was launched under the organisation’s Product and Network Division on 1 April. This new department is staffed with dedicated employees who are specialists in the relevant business fields.

The Singaporean container line said it has focused its efforts on integrating sustainability into its broader business strategy and objectives, having established four areas of priority:

  • Environment
  • Social
  • Governance
  • Operational Excellence

The newly created Green Strategy Department will drive ONE’s environmental sustainability endeavors through the close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, building better synergies together, according to an announcement.

This new department will be designing and implementing strategies so that the company continues to meet the relevant industrial and international standards.

ONE added that this new setup showcases its commitment to decarbonisation through orchestrating internal resources and joining global forces to create a greener future.
