The Singaporean container line Ocean Network Express (ONE) will launch a new service, named Korea Russia Express 2 (KRX2), to enhance its Far East – Russia connections.
The KRX2, linking directly Russia and Korea through the ports of Vostochny and Pusan respectively, will complement the current Korea Russia Express (KRX) service.
Hence, with the addition of the weekly service operated by one 1,000TEU vessel, ONE will provide more sailings between the two ports aiming to cover the logistic needs of its customers.
The maiden voyage for KRX2 service will commence with the 1,038TEU Concerto, which will depart the port of Pusan today, on 3 November 2021.
“The new service will create an excellent, reliable, and efficient transport option for ONE’s valued customers,” said the Singapore-based box carrier in an announcement.
ONE believes that with Pusan as the transshipment hub, both KRX and KRX2 services will offer improved connections with other worldwide destinations throughout the company’s global network.
