In May 2024, Ocean Network Express (ONE) will launch a new container ship service between Savannah, US and West India.
The new offering will provide the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) with ten services via the Suez Canal, nine of which will call on the Indian subcontinent.
The service rotation will be as follows:
Bin Qasim – Pakistan, Hazira – India, Nhava Sheva – India, Mundra – India, Damietta – Egypt, Algeciras – Spain, New York – United States, Savannah – United States, Jacksonville – United States, Charleston – United States, Norfolk – United States, Damietta – Egypt, Jeddah – Saudi Arabia, Bin Qasim – Pakistan
“ONE’s West India North America service recognizes a growing shift in global sourcing, with more manufacturers adding operations on the subcontinent,” stated Griff Lynch, CEO and GPA president.
Griff Lynch added, “With the world’s largest population, India also represents a tremendous market opportunity for US exporters. The Port of Savannah is strategically positioned to exploit this trend, providing more connections to India for supply chain flexibility.”
The latest ONE announcement will give the Port of Savannah 37 ocean carrier services to global destinations of any port from the mid-Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico.
ONE’s new West India North America (WIN) service will connect Hazira, Nhava Sheva, and Mundra to Savannah weekly. The service will also call at Pakistan’s Bin Qasim, Damietta, Algeciras, and Jeddah, providing additional connections to Mediterranean locations combined with existing services.

The new service will be supported by a fleet of nine vessels, all of which will be operated by ONE.
