For the fourth quarter of 2019, OOCL’s total volumes were 4.8% up from the same period last year, according to the company’s release.
OOCL says that total revenues increased by 2.3% to US$1.60 billion, while loadable capacity increased by 2.6%. In addition, the overall load factor was 1.8% higher than the same period in 2018 and overall average revenue per TEU decreased by 2.4% compared to the fourth quarter of last year, according to the announcement.
OOCL adds that for the full year of 2019, total volumes increased by 3.8% over the same period last year and total revenues recorded a 5.2% growth. The company, also, reports that loadable capacity increased by 4.0%, the overall load factor was 0.1% lower than the same period in 2018 and overall average revenue per TEU increased by 1.3% compared to the same period last year.
