PIL enhances its reefer fleet with 1,750 Carrier Transicold units

The Singaporean container shipping company will expand its reefer capabilities with 1,750 new refrigerated containers by Carrier Transicold.

The container refrigeration equipment provider recently manufactured 1,750 PrimeLINE and EverFRESH 12 meters high-cube reefers, which will enable PIL to transport fresh perishable products to newer and further markets.

An additional feature that will be provided to new and existing EverFRESH customers besides the existing Carrier Transicold support hotline is the 24/7 EverFRESH Technical Online Support which will allow customers to have access to a team of technical experts that will provide round-the-clock assistance to provide technical support onboard a vessel, according to a statement.

“We are happy that PIL places its trust and confidence in Carrier Transicold,” stated Leow Eng Meng, sales director, Asia, Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold. He added, “Our popular PrimeLINE unit, a highly advanced model of our original front-wall unit, coupled with the next-gen EverFRESH units’ robust design and proven performance, will propel PIL’s fleet into the future.”
