PIL upgrades to CPS vessel operator

Pacific International Lines (PIL) has increased its role in the China Pakistan Service (CPS) from a slot purchase arrangement to a vessel operating partner with the deployment of the 4,250TEU container vessel Kota Lumba.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]PIL believes that this move will improve its market presence in this direct service from Shanghai, Ningbo and Shekou into Pakistan, India West Coast and Sri Lanka, calling Karachi, Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Colombo.

The CPS is now operated by PIL, X-Press Feeders, KMTC and TS Lines, while the whole voyage lasts 42 days.

The Kota Lumba’s estimated time of arrival in Shanghai is 22 March and the rotation of the consortium service is Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Port Klang (North) – Nhava Sheva – Karachi – Mundra – Colombo – Port Klang (North) – Hong Kong – Shanghai.
