On 1 July, the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners approved the appointment of Ashley Morteboy as the head of the Project Controls Division at the Port of Long Beach, the second-busiest seaport in the United States.

Morteboy’s appointment will take effect on 29 July.

As the director of Project Controls, Ashley Morteboy will be responsible for establishing and tracking schedules, budgets, and costs to ensure the timely completion of the port’s infrastructure projects within the Engineering Services Bureau.
