Port of Rotterdam and STC International organise energy transition management training

From 20 to 23 March, the Port of Rotterdam Authority and STC International will host the Port Energy Transition Management Programme in Rotterdam. During this training session, port personnel will learn about the newest energy transition insights as well as the role that ports play in this process.

The course is part of various training programmes organised by the Dutch port and its partners.

Rotterdam generates and imports 13% of European energy needs. As a result, the port of Rotterdam is critical to Europe’s energy revolution.

“The port of Rotterdam works with the entire ecosystem to accelerate the energy transition and is an example of a future sustainable energy hub,” stated Nico van Dooren, director of New Business Development & Portfolio from the Port of Rotterdam Authority.

Nico added, “The Port Energy Transition Management Programme offers a unique opportunity to use this knowledge and experience”.
