Port of San Antonio handles over 145,000 TEU in June

The port of San Antonio in Chile achieved to move 146,604 TEU in June, a figure that represents a 7% increase compared to the same month in 2021.

“The good numbers we see are thanks to the work carried out by our port workers, always in a professional manner and maintaining care for their physical integrity. In addition, the role played by Customs agents, carriers, the maritime authority and all the agencies involved must be highlighted,” said the president of Port of San Antonio, Sally Bendersky.

Bendersky pointed out that “in current times, maintaining the maritime route with the countries that promote Chile’s foreign trade is essential, also thinking about the development of the province’s inhabitants. San Antonio will never stop on this matter, and we are moving forward.”

Some of the products that travel to and from the port of San Antonio are food, technology, fruits, wines, and vehicles, according to the port’s statement.
