ElectroTempo, a software company for electric fleet charging networks, announced a strategic agreement with the Port of Virginia, one of North America’s largest container ports.
The Port of Virginia’s engagement with ElectroTempo will assist in optimising vehicle electrification projects across various situations, increasing energy efficiency, lowering emissions, and driving down costs.
The Port of Virginia has boosted its electric vehicle (EV) count in recent years as part of its commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.
Also, the US port will have the necessary tools to analyse its electrified fleet and decide the best sustainable and cost-effective configuration of EVs and infrastructure throught the ElectroTempo platform.
Furthermore, the Port of Virginia can assess charging demand and charger coverage for its external partners and create EV adoption scenarios to help guide the organisation’s future electrification strategy by leveraging ElectroTempo’s intelligent analytics.
