Port Sohar’s Terminal C reaches a milestone

Hutchison Ports Sohar announced that its Terminal C crossed a new milestone. It has handled 3 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) since the beginning of its operations in 2014.

The latest achievement coincided with a signing ceremony for the purchase of two new remote-controlled super post-Panamax quay cranes from Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co. H E Said Hamdoon Saif al Harthy, Undersecretary of Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, attended the ceremony.
