Portchain hits milestone: 100 Terminals join its network

Portchain, a major provider of berth alignment and planning software for container terminals and carriers, has achieved a significant milestone by including the 100th terminal in the Portchain Connect Network.

“These 100 terminals represent just over 20% of the world’s global container capacity. We will continue to work tirelessly to create value for the terminal and carrier network, and we want to thank every single terminal for trusting Portchain to digitize their berth alignment process. Together, we are reshaping the future of port operations and paving the way for enhanced efficiency, transparency, and sustainability,” said Niels Kristiansen, CEO & Co-founder, Anders Olivarius, CIO & Co-founder, and Thor Thorup, CCO & Co-founder of Portchain.

Some of the latest additions to the Portchain Connect Network are the Turkish container terminal Evyapport, Germany’s EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven and UAE’s CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal.

“A hundred terminals deciding to join the Portchain Connect Network underscores the value and effectiveness of our solution in addressing the complex challenges of port operations. Portchain Connect empowers all 100 terminals in the Network to receive real-time updates directly from carrier systems, facilitating rapid response and counterproposals to align vessel schedules with terminal berth plans,” commented Thor Thorup.
