Kuenz and PortxGroup have announced the signing of an agreement, according to which PortxGroup will exclusively represent Kuenz container handling cranes in Australia and New Zealand and will open an office in Singapore to support its Asia-Pacific operations.

PortxGroup describes the deal with the Austrian crane innovators as “significant milestone” in the company’s strategic intent of building strong partnerships with high quality businesses and offering cutting edge products and services to container terminals.

“The strength of both Groups will add a lot of value to our future customer projects. Kuenz and Portx Group will now be able to offer Turn Key Projects to customers, including After Sales Services done by local people,” commented David Moosbrugger, managing director of Kuenz.

The founder and CEO of the Australian logistics solution provider, PortxGroup, Peter McLean noted, “This exclusive partnership allows us to offer innovative and efficient solutions for intermodal operations and automated stacking cranes for container terminals and rail yard operations.
