Prodevelop secures PCS contract with Port Authority of Avilés

Prodevelop, a Valencia-based digital transformation solution provider for the port and terminal industry, has won the tender for the development and maintenance of the Port Community System (PCS) of the Spanish Port Authority of Avilés.

The project will focus on the implementation of certain PCS modules, covering crucial areas such as water and power supply requests, fuel supply, and other vessel service requests.

Additionally, comprehensive maintenance will be performed, including corrective, preventive, evolutionary, and perfective aspects. Prodevelop will also assist with the operation and exploitation of the PCS environment.

“Having Prodevelop for the evolution and maintenance of our PCS is synonymous with peace of mind for us. Their 30 years of experience guarantees the quality of their work and their know-how,” stated Santiago Rodríguez, president of the Port Authority of Avilés.

According to a statement, Prodevelop’s work methodology is based on the continuous improvement model, based on the Deming cycle, thus guaranteeing efficiency and adaptability to the changing needs of the client.
