PSA Corporation has announced the opening of Tuas Port, with the first three berths operational in the first phase of development.

Tuas Port is poised to offer a comprehensive range of value-added port services and innovative cargo solutions leveraging technology and automation, according to a statement.
The adoption of digital solutions is expected to enhance the port’s ability to maximise the potential of supply chains and better support PSA’s customers in managing cargo flows.
Additionally, the port is expected to be strengthened by cross-industry collaboration with partners to stimulate collective action towards supply chain sustainability. PSA has also built its data analytics and digitalisation capabilities, enabling the flexibility to meet rapidly changing requirements as it continues to grow into the 2040s and beyond.

Tuas Harbor has a 23-meter draft alongside, with a total berth length of 26km. It currently has 500 employees, with the terminal being developed gradually in four phases.
When fully operational in the 2040s, it is expected to be the world’s largest fully automated container terminal at a single location, with an annual handling capacity of 65 million TEU.
