QTerminals partners with Portchain Connect to improve Hamad Port operations

QTerminals, a global port and terminal operator, has joined the Portchain Connect network for their Hamad Port operations.

Through digital handshakes and safe data exchange, Qatar’s Hamad Port is expected to improve the quality and speed of its berth alignment.

Portchain Connect, a provider of berth alignment solutions for container terminals and carriers, will help Hamad Port get real-time schedules and move count updates directly from carrier systems, allowing them to reply and counter-propose rapidly, allowing the vessel schedule to be aligned with the terminal berth plan.

“We are excited to work with QTerminals and help them drive efficiencies in their berth alignment process by facilitating streamlined data exchange for their Hamad Port operations We look forward to continuing our collaboration and continuously improving the platform based on user feedback,” stated Thor Thorup, CCO & Co-Founder of Portchain Connect.
