Ramborn and CFL multimodal ink partnership agreement

Ramborn and CFL multimodal, along with its subsidiary CFL logistics, are launching a long-term partnership.

The Luxembourg-based international logistics expert will provide warehousing, customs, and distribution services to Ramborn, the cider producer in Luxembourg. Ramborn, a certified B Corporation, sought a compatible partner sharing its commitment to enhancing sustainability across the production chain.

“I believe this partnership is just a logical step. At the CFL freight activities division, we are invested in creating ecological solutions and are continuously working hard on providing sustainable supply chains for our partners. Our missions are both very much centred around implementing something that will serve future generations still,” stated Laurent Erhard, CEO of CFL logistics.

Both companies share a profound appreciation for tradition, considering it a robust foundation for instigating thoughtful change for future generations. From revitalizing the ancient tradition of cider-making (known as “Viez”) to utilizing surplus fruit, restoring historical meadow orchards, and preserving biodiversity, Ramborn and CFL multimodal are united in their dedication to fostering environmentally friendly and socially beneficial operations.

Notably, as part of their shared commitment, both Ramborn and CFL multimodal advocate for the transportation industry’s shift towards more sustainable rail transport solutions whenever feasible.

“This collaboration will enable us to optimize our logistics and supply chain, ensuring faster and more reliable deliveries to our clients. Benefiting from CFL multimodal’s expertise in rail transport and green logistics solutions is a real asset to meet Ramborn’s future development challenges,” stated Carlo Hein, co-founder & president of the Board of Ramborn S.A.
