Ready, steady, go! Posidonia 2022 officially begins

The International Maritime Exhibition Posidonia 2022, which will take place from 6 to 10 June at the Athens Metropolitan Expo, is ready to open its gates.

The exhibition takes place after four years, while in 2020 it was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Posidonia 2022 will see 1,929 companies from 88 countries around the world exhibit their products and services to more than 18,000 visitors. In total, 24 National Pavilions from Europe, North America and Asia have confirmed that they will showcase their maritime credentials during the event.

Container News will be in the heart of the exhibition, so stay tuned for all the updates.

In parallel with the exhibition, 68 conferences and seminars will be held, where leaders of the shipping industry, representatives of regulatory authorities and government officials from around the world will talk about the evolution of the shipping industry.

“Despite all the adversity, we managed to cover the entire exhibition space and, now, the need to create additional exhibition spaces becomes imperative,” said Thodoris Vokos, CEO of Posidonia Exhibitions SA, organiser of the event.

Vokos pointed out that “This year’s exhibition is 7% bigger than the previous one, in 2018.”
