Reported Covid-19 cases on ONE Contribution to cause delays

A few crew members of the 8,560TEU container vessel, ONE Contribution, have been tested positive for Covid-19 and as a result, delays are expected.

ONE Contribution is currently deployed in THE Alliance’s Far East – Pacific South West Coast Loop 3- PS3 service and the Covid-19 cases appeared before the boxship berths at the Port of Singapore.

The vessel is currently unable to proceed with cargo operations, according to the ship owner of the 2014-built vessel, Ocean Network Express (ONE), which said it is working on the solution with the relevant authorities to ensure all precautionary measures are taken and arrange for the ship’s berthing.

“It is expected the original vessel schedule will be delayed and the vessel’s estimated berthing date in Singapore and its schedule recovery plans will be advised once more information is available,” noted Yang Ming, a part of THE Alliance, which also includes Hapag-Lloyd, ONE and HMM.
