Röhlig Logistics strengthens its presence in Spain with new Madrid office

German logistics firm Röhlig Logistics has expanded its footprint in Spain by opening an office in Madrid on 10 October.

The company has now presence in three Spanish cities, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid.

Albert Mora, general manager at Röhlig Spain, stated, “With Madrid-Barajas airport, Spain’s largest air cargo hub, and a dry port linking the city to Spain’s main seaports, Madrid boasts excellent infrastructure and is the Spanish region with the fastest import and export growth. In addition, Madrid has successfully diversified its industry mix in recent years, attracting many multinational companies from various sectors such as IT, pharma and healthcare, automotive and chemicals.”

María Jesús Fernandez will be the branch manager of the new office in the Spanish capital. The Spanish shipping professional has 25 years of business expertise and most recently led Manuport Logistics’ Madrid branch.

“I am excited to establish Röhlig as a reliable partner in the Madrid area and look forward to growing our local customer base,” she said.
