S.F. Express Singapore launches new airside logistics center

S.F. Express Singapore celebrated the opening of its new airside logistics center at Changi Airfreight Centre, enhancing its import and export operations and significantly reducing on-airport processing times from 4-6 hours to just 1.5-2 hours.

This development, which provides direct access to the airside for quicker cargo transfer, is expected to improve customer delivery speeds and increase cargo handling capacity in Singapore.

Vice President of SF Group, Zhang Ji, acknowledged the strategic location of Singapore as a gateway linking South Asia and Oceania and praised the support from Changi Airport and SATS, a leading global aviation ground service provider.

This collaboration aligns with S.F. Express’s goal to expand its logistical capabilities across Southeast Asia and beyond, enhancing its role in global logistics networks.

The facility’s launch is part of a broader strategy to capitalize on the growing demand for air express and logistics in Southeast Asia. S.F. Express aims to strengthen regional trade ties, particularly between Southeast Asia and China, by improving efficiency and connectivity.

The company plans to continue expanding its services, emphasizing customer-centric solutions to boost service quality and user experience for local and global markets.

Henry Low, CEO of SATS Singapore Hub, expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership, which aims to leverage both entities’ strengths to foster business growth in Singapore and support the regional expansion of Chinese enterprises through efficient logistics solutions.
