Saadé’s CMA CGM enhances media portfolio with La Tribune takeover

The CMA CGM Group aims to acquire 100% of the share capital of HIMA Group, which owns La Tribune, a business and financial media platform.

In particular, the completion of the transaction remains subject to consultation of employee representative bodies and to the necessary regulatory approvals.

CMA CGM said La Tribune would sit perfectly alongside La Provence and Corse Matin newspapers, which it acquired in 2022.

CMA CGM added that the acquisition would also strengthen La Tribune’s presence in the Marseille area and accelerate its development.
