SAAM Terminals appoints new senior VP of Commercial & Business Development

Starting 1 August, Rodrigo Galleguillos will assume the position of senior vice president of Commercial & Business Development at SAAM Terminals.

Galleguillos holds an undergraduate degree in business administration and a master’s in finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, as well as an MBA from Bond University in Australia.

“In recent years, Rodrigo has led the operations of San Antonio Terminal Internacional, Chile’s main port. This experience, which has given him in-depth knowledge of the SAAM Terminals hallmark, combined with his personal and professional qualities, will be key to take on this new challenge,” stated Mauricio Carrasco, CEO of SAAM Terminals.

With over ten years of experience in the maritime, port, and logistics sectors, Galleguillos has held various managerial roles in both Chile and Argentina.

In his new capacity, Galleguillos will be responsible for executing the commercial strategy and identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities for the company.
