Saigon Newport Corporation, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park sign collaboration deal

Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) a Vietnam-based port operator and the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP) an enterprise in the development of industrial Parks, townships, and integrated services, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation in the field of logistics on 9 September 2023, in Can Tho City, as part of the launching ceremony of the Vinh Thanh Industrial Park – VSIP Can Tho.

This agreement seeks to serve firms working in VSIP’s industrial parks with optimal and efficient logistical solutions.

Furthermore, Vietnam and Singapore celebrate the 50th anniversary of their relations and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership in 2023.

Following Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s official visit to Vietnam on 28 August, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) and VSIP jointly committed to collaborate and work toward a common goal of providing top-tier logistics solutions for customers in VSIP’s industrial parks nationwide.

This collaboration aims to maximise both entities’ skills and business ecosystems in order to deliver complete and efficient logistics solutions. These solutions are based on the following pillars: improving the efficiency and quality of end-to-end logistics services with a focus on cost optimisation, increasing the competitiveness of enterprises operating within VSIP’s industrial parks and collaborating on investment in Depot development within industrial parks, particularly in the Can Tho region.
