Saint John Port Authority appoints Shilo Boucher to the Board of Directors

Shilo Boucher was recently appointed as a new director of the Saint John Port Authority for a three-year term which started on 8 June 2023.

Shilo Boucher studied business administration at the University of New Brunswick Saint John (UNBSJ) and graduated in December 1999. She worked at a public accounting business from 1999 to 2006, where she gained her chartered accountant (CPA) qualifications in 2002 and worked as a manager at Deloitte before joining the YMCA in 2006.

Boucher has also previously served as chief financial officer at the Saint John YMCA and the Moncton Y, as well as chief operating officer at the Saint John YMCA.

Shilo has since been promoted to president and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Saint John, which employs over 400 employees and 500 volunteers.

“We are pleased to welcome Shilo to our Board of Directors. Shilo’s distinguished career in business and finance, along with extensive experience with communities and Boards provide a skill set that will be very welcomed by the members of our Board,” stated Jack Keir, chair of the Board for Port Saint John.
