UAE-based global shipping line SeaLead has announced the appointment of Mark Lee as Managing Director of SeaLead USA amid ongoing growth and expansion in the region.
Mark Lee, who brings more than 28 years of experience in the shipping industry, including more than a decade in the US market will replace Cas Pouderoyen, who has stepped down from the position.
Mark Lee began his career with Hanjin Shipping, later advancing to SM Line, where he held several senior roles such as senior Vice President, Head Director of Global Sales and Operations, and Vice President Managing Director Americas. Most recently, he served as the Executive Managing Director for South Korea at OEC Group.

our team to further establish our presence in this important market,” stated Lee.
In his new role, Lee will collaborate closely with SeaLead’s headquarters team in Singapore to strengthen commercial capabilities, foster and expand customer relationships, and develop services aimed at increasing the company’s presence in the United States. Additionally, he will manage vendor and agency relationships growth.

SeaLead has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is currently ranked 16th by industry expert Alphaliner. The company has successfully increased its market share by expanding operational capabilities and investing in personnel development and training.
Recently, SeaLead has made several strategic appointments, including its Global Chief Executive Officer, Suleyman Avci, and a five-member Board of Directors.
