Sennder appoints new General Manager for France

The European digital freight forwarding company Sennder has announced the appointment of Anthony Guillouet as Managing Director of France, taking over the duties of Maxime Legardez, former Managing Director of sennder France and founder of Everoad.

Sennder had acquired the French business Everoad in June of the previous year. Since the transaction closed, the combined business has experienced double digit percentage growth.

Anthony will focus on building sennder’s strong French market position by working closely with the company’s seven other European offices to scale its network and proprietary technology. He will also help the company double down on its growth in France and find synergies with its other core European markets.

Anthony brings over 20 years of experience to the business, holding various roles at the supply chain management and logistics solutions company DB Schenker. Most recently, he had worked as the Land Sales Director and Head of Road Brokerage, where he was overseeing a team of 450 chartering and sales personnel in France.

“I will leverage my 20 years of road freight managerial and operational experience to scale sennder’s platform across France and deploy the industry’s latest technology in my home market,” stated Anthony Guillouet.

He also noted that the need to make transportation more sustainable is one of the biggest challenges facing the freight industry, adding that “At sennder, we offer a range of low-carbon solutions including alternative fuels that reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% when compared with fossil diesel.”
