Hong Kong-based container line SITC will cease its Malaysia-India-Myanmar (MIM) service, covering Kuantan, Kolkata (Haldia) and Yangon from China.
Instead, the shipping company will commence the Far East-India (FIE3), focussing on Kolkata, and the China Malaysia Express (CMX), linking Kuantan.
- The FIE3 will be operated by four 1,800 TEU vessels and will have the following rotation:
Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Shenzhen (Shekou, China), Batam (Indonesia), Haldia (India), Shanghai
- The CMX will be covered by four 1,100 TEU boxships, which will sail under the following rotation:
Qingdao (China), Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Shenzhen (Shekou, China), Kuantan (Malaysia), Qingdao
