Solent Freeport in the United Kingdom has announced that James Hassett will be its first chief executive and will take over its duties from June 2023.
“This addition aims to drive forward the Freeport to become an established hotbed for innovation, a national hub for global trade and investment, and a catalyst for regeneration through the creation of high-skilled jobs,” said Solent Freeport in a statement.
James Hassett has over 25 years of experience leading organisations across a range of industries including the Engineering Sector, Environmental Sector and Public Sector.
