Two Maersk-owned companies, Svitzer and APM Terminals, have renewed their contract for the operation of two line boats that service vessels calling into Bahrain.
The new agreement between the global towage provider and APM Terminals Bahrain will run until December 2027.
The two line boats serve coastal tankers and small vessels, including tugs and barges.
“The contract renewal signifies great cooperation between our companies and reinforces the strong relationship we have cultivated over the years. By continuing to join forces, we demonstrate our commitment to delivering excellent services and maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency and reliability,” commented Mohamed Taher Aguir, APM Terminals managing director at Bahrain & Liberia.
