The Daily MABUX Bunker Index – 28 February

VLSFO and MGO saw a significant decline of US$19/tonne and US$13.31/tonne, respectively. Some regions recorded huge drops, such as South Europe (US$23.5/tonne in VLSFO and US$22.75/tonne in MGO), Central America (US$25/tonne in VLSFO) and Africa & Middle East (US$26.5/tonne in VLSFO).

The World Index of 380HFO was also down by US$4.75/tonne, while North America saw the biggest fall of US$12.75/tonne. Fuel prices of South America remained stable.
