TransContainer announces financial results

PJSC TransContainer reports its Financial Results under Russian Accounting Standards for the nine months of 2018.

For the reporting period the Company’s net income increased by 24.9% year on year and amounted to RUB 6,194 million. Net income margin* improved from 25.4% for the nine months of 2017 to 28.2% for the reporting period.

The Company’s revenue for the nine months of 2018 was RUB 54,735 million, up 14.2% year on year. Adjusted revenue (net of subcontractors’ charges) was up 12.5% year on year and amounted to RUB 21,994 million on the back of a growth in revenue-generating transportation volumes by 6.5%. At the same time the Company’s adjusted operating expenses (net of subcontractors’ charges) grew by 5.5% year on year to RUB 14,286 million.

The Company’s EBITDA surged by 20.6% year on year to RUB 10,625 million from RUB 8,812 million a year earlier. EBITDA margin* improved to 45.1% from 48.3% respectively.

The Company’s financial results in the nine months of 2018 were positively impacted by an increase in revenue-generating transportation volumes, flexible tariff policy, continuing empty runs optimisation and cost control.

As of 30 September 2018 the Company’s assets were RUB 59,418 million, total debt was RUB 11,094 million and the net debt was RUB 2,770 million.
