Transworld Fleet Management is a new ship management joint venture created by Transworld Group, a global shipping and logistics solution conglomerate and Fleet Management (FLEET), a ship management company.
Transworld Group’s diverse fleet, which comprises container vessels, bulk carriers, and tankers, as well as Transworld-related and connected vessels, will benefit from specialised technical management services.
The new joint venture is also expected to assist and provide value-added ship management services to a large number of other shipowners.
Transworld Group Chairman Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan said the joint venture will allow his company to focus on its ship ownership sector.
“FLEET has managed a number of our vessels over the past year, and this joint venture is a natural progression in our working relationship as we continue to add to our ship ownership portfolio, particularly in tankers,” stated Ramakrishnan.
Employees from Transworld Group and FLEET will collaborate closely in India, Hong Kong SAR, Dubai, and Singapore under the joint venture agreement.
