Effective January 27, 2020, Union Pacific Railroad, Hapag-Lloyd’s primary rail provider on US West Coast will discontinue their service from Oakland to the following destinations:
- To Kansas City, Missouri
- St. Louis, Missouri (Dupo terminal)
- Marion, Arkansas
Hapag-Lloyd will continue to serve imports to these destinations over Southern California via ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach. Hapag-Lloyd informs that this change does not affect any West Bound (export) routes presently in place.
