Wan Hai Lines names three new boxships

Wan Hai Lines hosted ship naming ceremonies for WAN HAI 361, WAN HAI 362, and WAN HAI 366 at Japan Marine United Corporation TSU Shipyard.

WAN HAI 361 and 362 are the 10th and 11th vessels, respectively, in a series of 3,013 TEU container ships, while WAN HAI 366 is the second vessel in a series of 3,055 TEU vessels.

Japan Marine United Corporation TSU Shipyard constructed the three container ships.

Wan Hai Lines said the 3,013 and 3,055 TEU models are designed with energy efficiency and environmental friendliness in mind.

“These two series feature completely balanced twisted bulb rudders, and pre-swirl fins, and all ships supplied are ‘Smart Ship’ certified,” added the company.
