Wan Hai to start new Intra-Asia service in December

Wan Hai Lines has announced the launch of a China – East India Service V (CI5) service in December aiming to expand its networks in both North China and East India.

Six container vessels with a nominal capacity of 4,250TEU will be deployed on the CI5 service with the following port rotation: Qingdao – Busan – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Port Klang (West port) – Port Klang (North Port) – Chennai –Kattupalli– Port Klang (North Port) – Singapore – Pasir Gudang – Shekou – Kaohsiung – Qingdao.

The maiden voyage will commence from Qingdao port on 13 December, 2020, and it will be a 42-day fixed round trip schedule.

Wan Hai Lines said in its announcement it is confident that the new service will provide customers with better frequency and service coverage between China / South East Asia and India.
