WEC Lines establishes new office in France

Dutch shipping liner and owner WEC Lines opened a new office in Nantes, France, located at 16 Quai Ernest Renaud, right in the centre of the city.

WEC Lines aims to further enhance its ability to oversee all operational matters at the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire with an owned vessel calling this container terminal once a week.

“We are delighted to inaugurate our new office in Nantes, a reflection of our commitment to solidify our short sea and deep sea operations in the French market,” said Caesar Luikenaar, CEO of WEC Lines.

He added, “This expansion will allow us to serve the local market better and provide a sustainable, but fast and reliable alternative to road transport within France to/from the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Spain. We aim to quickly develop Montoir-de-Bretagne into a full-stop port as part of our short sea network offering all types of containers including 45ft HCPW and 45ft refrigerated containers.”

The new Office Manager will be Jean-Baptiste Perrin, while Romane Cariou will be the Supervisor of Customer Services.
