WiseTech Global expands portfolio with ImpexDocs takeover

WiseTech Global, the developer of the logistics execution software CargoWise, has announced an agreement to acquire ImpexDocs, a provider of Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions designed to centralize, digitize, and streamline international trade workflows.

Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, ImpexDocs is being acquired from Acme Trade Group, with the transaction subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions.

Founded in 2003 by Manish Desai, ImpexDocs serves clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Its comprehensive trade software suite offers a unified digital platform that enables export supply chain professionals to manage international trade processes and documentation, including sales and purchase orders, shipping, and compliance paperwork. The platform also provides real-time visibility into order, shipment, and contract statuses.

Vlad Bilanovsky, Chief Execution Officer of WiseTech Global, stated: “The acquisition of ImpexDocs brings proven GTM capability to WiseTech’s solutions as well as a team of domain experts in global trade execution and compliance. This will help accelerate ongoing product development within digital documentation – one of our six priorities to extend the CargoWise ecosystem.”

Following the acquisition, ImpexDocs’ functionality will be integrated into WiseTech’s suite of compliance, trade, and logistics products. Existing customers will continue to access ImpexDocs’ solutions, and the company will remain under the leadership of Manish Desai.

ImpexDocs’ Founder and CEO Manish Desai said: “We are excited about the opportunities enabled by joining WiseTech as the global reach and extensive resources will help bring ImpexDocs’ solution to a much larger potential market while opening new career opportunities for our team members.”
