X-Press Feeders commits to methanol as future fuel

X-Press Feeders has ordered six additional 11,000 TEU methanol dual-fuelled boxships at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding as it hedges its decarbonisation bets on methanol.

The company’s Head of Global Operations, Vijayachelvan Silva Raju, said at the Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition that X-Press believes methanol “is here to stay”.
