Yang Ming breaks annual profit record in 2021

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has announced strong financial results for 2021, following the record figures of the liner industry.

The Taiwanese container carrier reported revenue of US$11.91 billion and profit after tax of US$5.9 billion, which is the highest profit that Yang Ming has achieved in history.

With the company enjoying record financial performance in 2021, Yang Ming’s board of directors, which held its 370th board meeting on 14 March to approve its 2021 annual financial report, approved to distribute a cash dividend of US$0.7 per share.
