YILPORT integrates Navis TOS into Portuguese box terminal

Turkish port operator Yilport Holding announced the successful completion of the Navis Terminal Operating System (TOS) integration in YILPORT Leixões, a container terminal in the north of Portugal.

Integrating a conventional TOS system into the terminal is a big shift forward for YILPORT because it will serve as the foundation for any level of automation, equipment/truck detection systems, and other advanced technologies, according to a statement.

Furthermore, it is expected to aid in the coordination of vessels, cargo, and yard activities, increasing operational effectiveness.
