ZIM appoints new BoD chairman

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services has announced the appointment of Yair Seroussi as the company’s chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD).

Seroussi’s nomination as a member of the ZIM board was approved in a shareholders meeting held on 15 October. He will replace Aharon Fogel, who is stepping down after serving more than six years as the chairman of the Israeli shipping company.

Yair Seroussi has served in various senior positions in both the public and private sectors. He was the chairman of Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s largest bank, from 2009 until 2016, while has served as head of Morgan Stanley Israel for approximately 16 years, from 1993 to 2009.

Currently, Seroussi is the chairman of Enlight Renewable Energy, a fast-growing company, which is active in 10 European markets and is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
